Our CEO Daniel Lee recently took part in a roundtable hosted by Chemist+Druggist discussing hub and spoke dispensing.
Currently, hub and spoke arrangements are only allowed when the hub and spoke pharmacies are part of the same legal business entity. Providing an unfair dispensing advantage to some, while leaving the rest without the means to increase their capacity.
New legislation is needed to change this. Hub and spoke should be an option for every pharmacy and we’re urging the powers that be to make that happen.
