HubRx set for TITAN go live

HubRx is set to bring the benefits of dispensing automation to more independent community pharmacies following a partnership with TITAN.

From this month (October) independent pharmacies using TITAN’s PMR system will be able to access HubRx’s automated dispensing service.

Having already dispensed close to five million prescription items since launch, this latest PMR integration will enable many more independents to dispense upwards of 50 per cent of their workload through HubRx.

HubRx users access the service within their PMR system. Orders can be sent to HubRx within the efficient Titan interface. There HubRx’s state-of-the-art system checks, labels and bags each item before totes are returned to pharmacy, ready for patient collection – 99 per cent of which arrive the next morning.

It’s a process which saves independent pharmacies an average of 90 hours a week across the dispensary team in each branch.

HubRx has to date delivered more than £427,000 in buying improvements for pharmacies, as well as releasing up to £50,000 through local stock reduction.

Commenting on the latest PMR integration, HubRx co-founder and CEO, Daniel Lee said: “The partnership with TITAN just made sense. Not only is their PMR user base growing at an impressive rate, but their focus on driving innovation within community pharmacy aligns with our own.

“For independents to be able to achieve all that’s expected of them, while also making healthy profit, they need to adopt new technology and ways of working. Manual dispensing shouldn’t be the blocker to pharmacies gaining more financial reward and satisfaction from clinical service delivery.”

TITAN has recently revealed its 1,500th pharmacy using its PMR system.

The partnership with TITAN coincides with HubRx also launching its Clinical Services Support Package. A free resource, including £1,200 worth of PGDs, step-by-step clinical services guides and staff training documents.

The support package, available exclusively to HubRx pharmacy customers, also includes a live chat feature to help pharmacists during patient consultations. And access to peer-to-peer communities – including a dedicated group for independent prescribers.
